Care Assistant (Skilled Worker visa sponsorship available)
We are recruiting for care assistant roles in the UK care sector. If you are currently living in the UK and eligible to switch to a Skilled Worker visa, we would love to hear from you!
Roles available include:
- Residential care/nursing homes
- Domiciliary care
- Live-in care
Salary:
- Minimum £12.82 per hour (£25,000 per year)
- Other benefits vary between employers
- Live-in carers will have free accommodation and food
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with mobility and physical needs
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
- Administering or prompting medication as per care plans
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate records of client care and wellbeing
Other responsibilities vary between employers.
Mandatory eligibility requirements
You must currently:
- Legally working or studying in the UK
- Be able to prove your legal right to work in the UK (see this webpage for more info)
- Hold a UK passport or valid visa that allows switching to a Skilled Worker visa, such as:
- Skilled Worker visa (previously a "Tier 2" visa)
- Student visa
- Graduate visa
- Dependant visa
- Any other visa type explicitly eligible under UK immigration rules
- Meet the English language requirements for the Skilled Worker visa
Note: Visitors, short-term visa holders (tourist visa, Overseas Domestic worker visa), and those with visas that explicitly prohibit switching are not eligible.
Other information
- DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process
- Clean criminal record in the UK
Desirable (but not mandatory)
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred
Candidates who have these requirements may be fast-tracked ⏩ ⏩ ⏩
- UK driving licence. Licence approval to drive manual transmission is highly desirable
- Car owner
- Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience
- Cantonese language speakers

For now, we are recruiting for 1) residential care homes 2) domiciliary care agencies and 3) private individuals needing a live-in carer. All of these roles are located in the UK.
At this stage we do not have any roles in the NHS or private hospitals. -
How long it takes depends on a number of factors including the availability of jobs and the strength of your application.
